How to measure your laundry weight?

 A typical household washing machine holds 8 or 9 pounds of laundry. See our chart for a better idea of how much laundry weighs. Our friendly staff will weigh your laundry each morning your drop off and pick up to ensure assurance and confidence that what you’re giving is what you’re getting back. 

What if I miss my laundry pickup?

We are flexible. If you miss your pick-up day, your laundry can be picked up for service the next day, per campus schedule. As long as you contact us by call/email and request a pickup. If you completely miss a week of laundry, please notify us immediately. If you don’t let us know to double the pounds for the following week, you will be charged for weight overages. 

Do I need to be home or on campus for pick up or delivery?

If you live in a campus dorm, per university compliance we only offer curbside pick-up and delivery of laundry. Your campus representative will inform you of the pick location prior to your service start date. 

If you live off campus, you must arranged with us (in writing) to pickup or leave your laundry in a secure location there is no need for you to be home for either. We will notify you of delivery. After, laundry had been delivered to said location, Laundry 305 is not liable for property damages or theft that occur after delivery. 

When do you charge my credit card and how often?

You will be charged when you sign up for a package. Additional charges for weight overages will be charged on the day of service. 

I need my laundry cleaned ASAP, how can I schedule a pick-up?

If you need laundry ASAP, please text, call or email us. DURING OFFICE HOURS, which are 7 AM to 7 PM local time Monday through Thursday. So if you ask for an ASAP pickup After office hours, you may incur a $15.00 fee for immediate servicing. 

Do I need to separate my laundry?

No, we’ve got you covered. We will separate your lights and darks for you and will always follow garment instructions. Make sure that your socks are not balled up AND are right side out, and separate things like two shirts that you took off together, or shorts and sweats that came off together. 

What about delicate items like sweaters?

If you would like something special done with your clothes, we will be more than happy to accommodate. We will air dry/low heat dry, wash on delicate cycle, and wash separately. Simply put a note in your laundry bag with specific instructions, or tell us when you sign up online. Any item in need of dry cleaning may take 2-3 days to service. If you don’t want any items dry cleaned, just leave a note. It’s not a problem. 

Will my laundry shrink?

All claims (including missing/damaged items) must be reported within 48 hrs of delivery. Due to variations in fabrics and dyes we cannot guarantee against color loss, bleeding, and shrinkage when following manufacturer’s care instructions. We take additional steps to remove stains that are identified prior to processing, but we cannot guarantee removal of existing stains. We try to remove and return items from pockets, but we are not responsible for items left in clothing or any resulting damage. 

What if I give you something brand new?

Please let us know when you are washing something for the first time. We will be happy to wash it separately. This will prevent colors from running on your other clothes. Due to variations in fabrics and dyes we cannot guarantee against color loss, bleeding, and shrinkage when following manufacturer’s care instructions. 

How can I be sure that nothing is missing?

We weigh the clothes when we receive them and we weigh them when they are completed. You will always know how what you’ve given us and how much to expect back. If you think something is missing, you can tell us and we will immediately investigate. However, all claims of missing clothes must be made within three days of laundry delivery or we will not be liable. 

Why did you dry clean items I gave you to launder?

If we find an item whose care instructions say ‘dry clean only’ or ‘hand wash’ those items will be sent out to be dry-cleaned and your credit card will be charged for that service. If you want to avoid this, you can either tell us NOT to dry clean a specific item by pinning a note on it, or email or call us telling us to NEVER dry clean ANY of your items. 

What if I want to cancel services?

All credit card charges will remain in effect until you cancel in writing to info@laundry305.net. You must notify in writing of any changes in my account information or termination at least 7 days prior to the next billing date. Any chargebacks without 7 days written notice wills will be subject to 50% refund.  When you sign up for service, you acknowledge that the origination of Credit Card transactions to your account must comply with the provisions of U.S. law and will not dispute these scheduled transactions; so long as the transactions correspond to the terms indicated. Taxes and fees are not refundable.

Move-In Cleaning

Who doesn’t want a fresh start? Before we deliver your stored belongs to your new address, a thorough move in cleaning gives new homeowners and tenants peace of mind knowing that their new living space has been scrubbed and disinfected from top to bottom. We always recommend performing a move in clean before you unload your personal belongings. This ensures that every inch of the room gets the attention that it needs.

Move-Out Cleaning

You’ve likely selected us for your storage needs. Now that the rooms are empty – or nearly empty – it’s time to get your home or apartment looking even better than it did when you first moved in. Many house or apartment contracts require a “broom-clean.” Others require a thorough checklist that covers everything from baseboards to the microwave oven.

Standard Move-Out Cleaning Checklist:

· Dust (everything)

· Clean kitchen appliances

· Clean out cabinets

· Clean sinks & countertops

· Scrub toilets

· Scrub shower & bathtub

· Wipe down baseboards

Are you okay with pets being in the home during a cleaning service?

Yes, we’re proud to be a pet-friendly company. If your pet is aggressive in any way, we recommend that you leave him or her outside or in a gated area to ensure the safety of our professional housecleaners. If you don’t plan on being home when we arrive, please let us know how to appropriately handle cleaning around your pet.

Do I need to be home for every cleaning service?

Because we work on an 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. schedule, Monday to Friday, we recognize most of our customers aren’t home when we arrive. However, every schedule is different. Simply use our online scheduling platform to set a designated time for your housekeeper to tend to your living quarters. If you’d like to leave us a key or gate code for entry, we’ll arrive as schedule and leave you a note of service completed. 

If you live ON CAMPUS in a dorm, per university policy, you must escort us to and from your rooms – therefore you should be present during the cleaning. 

How will our relationship work?

At Laundry 305, we recognize the importance of communication, especially when it comes to important valuables in your home and any specific cleaning requests you may have. Use our online scheduling platform to set a designated time for your housekeeper to tend to your living quarters. We value your trust and do everything possible to earn it by performing quality cleans that are reliable and affordable, designed to meet your needs and exceed your expectations. 

Who does Laundry 305 hire to clean my home?

We believe consistency is key, as we try our best to ensure the same housekeepers return for your home cleaning each service day. We never outsource housecleaners. Actually, we never outsource any of our services. We wear our recognized uniforms with pride and confidently carry out services that exceed expectations. All housekeepers undergo regular training to ensure that we’re always performing the best quality cleans. For additional safety and peace of mind, the work we perform for each customer is held accountable by a trusted and experienced supervisor.

What time does your team arrive?

What time would you like us to arrive. With our unique online scheduling platform, you may chose a consistent schedule (day/time) or elect a time whenever you feel you need us to tidy up your space. Don’t worry about window of arrivals, we’ll never having you waiting around for us all day. the time you pick is the time we arrive read you work.

What if something’s damaged during a service?

We treat every single home we clean with the utmost respect. If something happens to break during our routine service, we’ll do our best to repair or replace the item. Our residential housekeepers are fully insured, so claims can be filed when appropriate.

What if something I wanted cleaned is missed?

The cleaning methods we use ensure that your home receives the most consistent clean every time. During your first consultation, we’ll create a customized cleaning plan that’s designed to accommodate all of your specific requests, in addition to our cleaning checklist. However, we do recognize that perfection is not always possible, which is why we back all of our work with a satisfaction guarantee. We’re happy to correct our mistakes at no additional cost to you when you call us within 24 hours of your most recent service.

What do you not clean?

Our professional housecleaning services are designed to keep your home comfortable and clean. We customize services to accommodate your preferences, so you never have to worry about paying for a service you don’t need or want. To ensure we provide your home with the highest quality of care, we don’t typically: 

– Clean toys

– Clean the inside of your fireplace

– Behind or under large appliances (stove, refrigeration, washers/dryers/ ice freezers.

– Swimming pools

– Grills

What if I need to reschedule a service?

We understand how unpredictable life can be. That’s why we work with your schedule to ensure that we’re cleaning your home at a time that’s most convenient for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule a cleaning, we recommend that you call about 48 hours before your next scheduled service. We’ll do our best to accommodate all of your scheduling needs.

What if my scheduled cleaning service falls on a holiday?

During the event that one of your routine cleanings falls on a holiday, we’ll reach out to you. Our team will also remind you of any additional housecleaning services that we can provide you with, so you can be prepared for the upcoming holiday. We’ll do our best to work with your schedule.

Am I liable for employment taxes, workers’ compensation, or insurance?

Laundry 305 is proud to be a worry-free housecleaning service solution. This means that we take care of any personal liability with regard to social security taxes and work-related injuries. We’re fully licensed and insured for your peace of mind.

Do I need to provide your team with my own cleaning equipment or supplies?

No. We arrive with all of the cleaning materials we need and take them with us when we leave. We’re proud to use the best products and vacuums on the market to ensure that we leave your home looking spotless.

If you have any preferences in regard to what cleaning products we use, you may purchase those products for our use and we will always leave them for our next visit. 

Do you always send the same housecleaners?

We believe that it’s very important to always send the same team to clean your home and we do everything in our control to make this possible. If a member of your team is absent, we’ll do our best to find the most suitable replacement and we will notify you of that change. All of our residential housekeepers undergo extensive training to ensure that the quality of our work is always consistent.

Can I provide my cleaning team with special instructions?

Yes! In fact, we encourage it. Your preferences give us the structure we need to enhance your cleaning experience and ensure that you’re completely satisfied with your home’s level of clean. In order to be sure that your preferences are recorded in your cleaning plan, we recommend that you call us directly and we will enter into your account profile, leave a note on your kitchen counter on your next service day, or enter your request in your account profile under housekeeping special instructions. Whichever method you choose, it will be properly documented so you don’t have to reiterate them every time we arrive for service.

What do you mean by “green housecleaning”?

This method involves the practices and products used by cleaning companies to promote a better environment and a healthier home. Green cleaning solutions don’t contain ozone depleting chemicals or flammable substances that can irritate the skin and cause respiratory illnesses.

While most green cleaning products cannot remove all harmful forms of bacteria, Laundry 305 strives to use the most appropriate methods for each service. In order to protect the environment, we utilize microfiber cloths and pads during our services, rather than paper. Not only is this practice better for the environment, microfiber picks up 99% of bacteria while cotton-based mops only pick up 30%.

How do I pay?

If customers can’t find it, it All our services are prepaid, all you worry about is scheduling a day and time to clean around your busy life. If you already have an account, simply log in and click “Add a Service”, select your cleaning plan and charges will be applied to your card on file. If you do not have an account or other services with us, click here to be rerouted to our registration page.
